Summary

Installing a new island-style hood range isn’t always straightforward, especially when the space needs to be adapted. For this Vancouver kitchen, we were called to install a modern chimney hood fan where precise fit and proper ventilation were essential.

The Work

Measured and inspected the kitchen layout to confirm appliance fit and installation needs
Modified the ceiling opening to match the hood’s dimensions and alignment
Installed the new hood fan, connecting it to ventilation and electrical systems
Tested the hood for proper operation and made necessary adjustments

The Outcome

The new hood fan now fits securely and runs smoothly, blending with the kitchen’s open layout. The setup provides reliable ventilation and a polished finish, ready for everyday cooking.
