Summary

A Vancouver homeowner needed a new dishwasher installed quickly, including removal and recycling of the old unit. The project involved handling an open-box dishwasher with missing pieces, adding some extra problem-solving along the way.

The Work

Picked up the new dishwasher directly from the appliance outlet
Uninstalled the existing dishwasher and prepared the space
Installed the new dishwasher with proper connections and leveling
Adapted by using an old kick plate part and noted missing side covers due to the open-box condition
Tested the new unit to confirm correct operation
Removed and recycled the previous dishwasher

The Outcome

The kitchen now features a fully functioning new dishwasher, installed securely and tested, with the old appliance removed responsibly. Even with missing finishing parts, the job was completed without delay.
